The original "The RRS Discovery"
Captain Scott's exploration ship that sailed to the Antarctic is permanently
docked in Dundee, and Discovery Point, houses all the audio and visual
information before the start of the tour of the ship. A fascinating experience
for young and old alike.

Olympia Leisure Centre plays host
for it's leisure pool including five water slides, waves rapid river and toddler
pool, for more serious fun a training pool, or scale the indoor climbing wall,
and by far the most relaxing the Aqua sauna health suite.

Broughty Ferry Castle, built in
the 1490's, now a museum of whaling, fishery, armour and local history.

Tay Rail Bridge, re-built 1887,
still the longest rail bridge in Europe, pieces can still be seen in the local
museum in the city centre.

its wildlife trail and walk about map, plus 100 species of native Scottish and
European wildlife, including wolves, Brown bears, both of which have been
extinct in Britain for centuries.

by the Lyons family, the Queens sister, Margaret was horn in Glamis Castle and
brought up from childhood. The Queen Mother although born in London was also

Peter Pan. Kirriemuir, the birth place
of Sir James Barrie creater of Peter Pan was born there in 1860. There is a
wealth of information and sightseeing in this picturesque part of the county of
Angus.

the Kings of Scotland were crowned; Caithness Glass Factory, where you can view
glassmaking from spacious viewing galleries; 45 minutes drive to Stirling where
the monument to Sir William Wallace is to be found; 60 minutes drive to
Edinburgh the capital of Scotland; 80 minutes to Glasgow the industrial strength
of Scotland; and 50 minutes drive to Aberdeen, the North Sea & oil
