With a beautiful collection of parks and open spaces, a Yellow Flag status
beach at Broughty Ferry and an award-winning revamped city centre, Dundee
offers an excellent environment for leisure visitors. And with more hours

The city boasts a multitude of different sporting and leisure facilities
widely used by both residents and visitors. Golf is one of the most popular
pursuits in the city, which lies at the heart of the triangle between
three of the world's best championship courses at St Andrews, Gleneagles
and Carnoustie. Downfield Golf Club, Camperdown Golf Club and Caird Park
Golf Club offer unique challenges of their own. Football is another passion
of the city which has two teams enjoying friendly rivalry in the Scottish
Premier League, Dundee and Dundee United. And the city is a hub for winter
sports. Dundee Ice Arena, home to Dundee Texol Stars ice hockey team,
is one of the country's leading ice facilities with an Olympic size ice
rink and seating for 2300 spectators.
